Welcome to The Daniel Estick Trust…

We truly believe that Memories are a gift to treasure and when opportunities to make memories with loved ones are lost through a bereavement it is essential that the memories already created have a special place in our lives.

To support this we provide memory boxes for bereaved parents and families to ensure special items and pictures have a safe and special place that can be revisited any time.

Much of our work is with bereavement support professionals: for example, hospices, hospitals, support charities and groups, GPs, local schools, pastoral care staff. If your organisation works with bereaved parents, we would love to hear from you so do get in touch

These obstacles are not for the fait hearted and include things like 8 foot high walls, big muddy holes and trapeze swings. With the London Marathon this weekend I wanted to spotlight how fantastic the London Landmark Half Marathon team did earlier in the month. Between the 12 of us we raised over £9,000 to use to provide memory boxes to bereaved parents across the UK. This equates to being able to support 500 families who suffer the loss of a child though bereavement specialists in hospitals and hospices who receive our boxes. If you feel inspired to give a London event a go we plan to try and secure places for the Landmarks half marathon event next year and also attempt to secure a London Marathon Charity entry place as well. Watch out for updates on if we get places and how to register interest to be part of the team in 2026 Final massive THANK YOU to the LLHM Class of 2025 for being amazing and helping support our small charity. ...
